Bangalore, May 24 & 25 2014:
Anahatalife's volunteers celebrated their spirit of volunteerism by being a convoy of happiness to the society by organizing a two day fundraiser program "Dwitiya" at Rangoli, MG Road Metro Station. This second initiative focused on creating more awareness about rehabilitation for children in slum and providing alternate career for sex workers.

There is much difference in "Creating Awareness" and "Being Aware". It is a known fact that it is easier to get them out of that world but the actual challenge is the acceptance of them by the society and their families. Anahatalife is working towards getting them back to normal life and training them to get jobs.

The future of a child growing in deprived conditions isn't promising. When a child is raised in an under privileged society, he or she tends to think that their lives cannot attain high potential. With their parents being rag pickers, children mostly don’t get their basic needs like food, shelter, clothing and education.

Speaking on the Occasion Joyeeta Das CEO & Founder of Anahatalife, "Anahatalife is the key that unlocks that lock. We at Anahatalife believe in working for a healthier society. Apart from materialistic needs, we believe in helping individuals gain their confidence and self esteem. My team and I are looking forward to such opportunities in our future endeavors ."

The cake stall, sold it all. These Homemade delicacies were a treat for every individual, the appearances and garnishing on these treats were mouth watering. These cakes bought the love and hope to give away the initiative taken up by the Anahatalife volunteers. The dedication by the baker (Skanda) to make this happen is beyond words.

The Paintings on display caught the attention of many. These artifacts were sketched, painted by the volunteers as a noble deed.
